The Members Services Customer Training course teaches personalized engagement with clients. By using a text entry variable, this course models the personalized touch by addressing the learner by name on five scenes throughout the module. This interaction uses layers and triggers to restrict the learner from progressing without entering text in the Name Entry field.
Panning Zoom Regions with Marker Interaction
Through the panning zoom region interaction, the learner gets an up close look of the facility and the effect of being on premises. The pop up marker interaction provides content of each type of equipment offered at the facility.
Drag and Drop Knowledge Check
This interactive drag and drop knowledge check allows the learner to actively engage with content in a no risk, high reward interaction. Depending on performance, the learner is directed to a correct, incorrect, try again, or review layer for optimal support and retention. This interaction seamlessly maintains the workplace scenario established in the course.
Spinner Interaction
By using motivational gamification, this spinner interaction focuses the learners' attention on content through rolling goals. The use of a note taking light box the learner is challenged to take good notes they can use later in the course to optimize success. The learners may even download and print their notes as a custom job aid.
Slider Interaction Knowledge Check
This slider interaction embraces Merrill's Principles of Instruction by integrating a workplace scenario into the learning application. The learner practices the concept of distinguishing the six production problem types through cognitive gamification. A knowledge check incorporates level 2 of Kirkpatrick's four levels of assessment. By analyzing learner results on knowledge checks, it is possible to monitor if the learner acquired new knowledge. This interaction uses slider variables, layers, a motion path, state changes and triggers to enhance the learner experience.
Accordion Interaction
In support of Myeloma Action Month, this accordion interaction highlights the benefits of the HealthTree Foundation. The multimedia functionality of video and voice over audio captures the learners attention. As a quick microlearning, this interaction is perfect for social media posts, website highlights, or newsletter attention grabber. This interaction requires, tab reveals, layers, triggers and state changes along with foundation branding to deliver a polished product.
Find the Safety Term: Caution Quest Game
In this 60 second timed game, learners are challenged to correctly identify 20 workplace safety or hazardous terms. Learners are motivated through an onscreen countdown timer and stars for every 5 correct responses. Game uses gaming logic, number variables, text entry variable, true false variables, triggers, state, and layers for full functionality.
Flowchart Interaction
This flowchart interaction demonstrates the effectiveness of a step of Gange's Nine Instructional Events. The learner is provided multiple resources in an organized and visually appealing manner nestled in a real-life workplace scenarios that support the learner through a complex, higher level thinking task. Such tasks must become second nature to safe, cost saving, and high quality output by a master carpenter. This interaction uses state changes, conditional variables, and light boxes to enhance the learner experience.
